REPLAY, also known as Ramped Slow Motion (RSM), is one of the most powerful ways to watch and share skate tricks on Skate Hype. It creates a progressive slow-motion effect that smoothly transitions between normal speed and slow motion, highlighting the most important moment of a trick.
When a trick has REPLAY enabled, the video automatically alternates between normal playback and the ramped slow-motion version, making every detail easier to see.
Tricks must be recorded at 50 or 60 fps to use this feature.
You can download the full trick with the ramped slow motion applied.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner → Download.
For videos shorter than 60 seconds and recorded at 50 or 60 fps, you can also create a ramped slow-motion version for download.
The Slow Motion REPLAY menu lets you control exactly how the slow motion behaves.
Trim bar
Defines the start and end of the clip. Usually you select about one second before and one second after the trick, or the full clip as long as it does not exceed the time limit. When you release the control, the video snaps to the exact point where the ramp will be applied.
Trick position
Should match the exact moment when the trick happens.
Trick duration
Should match the duration of the trick.
Min speed
Defines the lowest playback speed during the slow motion.
Creating great slow motion has always been considered an art.
Now it’s in your hands.
