Upcoming changes to the Trick of the Week

Starting soon, the Trick of the Week will have a new weekly cycle. The main change is that the competition week will open and close every Thursday at 12:00 noon Spanish time, instead of Monday.

Every Thursday at noon, the current week will close and the next one will open automatically. Tricks submitted before that cutoff will still be in the running: voting will remain open from Thursday through Sunday, giving the best tricks of the week time to earn the votes they deserve.

Tricks submitted after Thursday at 12:00 noon will be registered as entries for the following week, but will not appear in the TOTW rank on the homepage until Monday — this way the public rank always shows a complete and ordered week.

On Sunday at midnight, results and the winners playlist will be published automatically, just as they are now.

On Monday, tricks submitted since the previous Thursday at 12:00 noon will appear in the homepage TOTW rank, where they will remain visible until Sunday.

In short: submit whenever you want, the cutoff is Thursday at noon, and results are out on Sunday.
